🏢 Who we are
PermitPass provides automated pre-submission BIM compliance screening for Toronto building permits, currently in private beta. For anything about your data or these terms, email [email protected] — a human reads it.
📋 What we collect
Waitlist: the name and email you submit to request beta access, so we can contact you. Screening inputs: the property address you enter and the IFC file you upload — used only to run the screening. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing. Ever.
🗂️ Your files & reports
Uploaded IFC files are processed in memory and never stored on our servers. Generated PDF reports are held in memory with a 1-hour time-to-live, then permanently gone — download your report when it's ready. Want your waitlist entry or any other data removed? Email us and we'll delete it.
✉️ Emails
We only send transactional emails related to your beta access request. No newsletter, no drip campaigns. Reply to any email to reach us directly.
⚖️ Screening disclaimer
PermitPass screening results are for internal review purposes only. They do not constitute official regulatory advice, a permit approval, or a decision by the City of Toronto or any regulatory authority. Screening depends on the information present in your model (see the Model Completeness Score in your report). Always verify compliance with a licensed professional before submitting a permit application. The beta is provided as-is; you use the results at your own professional judgment.

If we materially change how we handle your data, we'll update this page. Continued use of the beta after a change means you accept it.
